Teal in the City - Renebouquets

Hi to all my fellow scrappers! I tried something a little different for this layout. All I knew when I started was that there would be many layers and Eiffel Towers! I started out with some Fabscraps Shabby Chic papers. After I cut them all to the size I wanted, I distressed all the edges, and arranged the flowers and other items that would be tucked inbetween the layers.

I covered the two chipboard Eiffel towers, from Gina's Designs, with gesso and white crackle paint.

After I had a general idea where I wanted to place everything, I glued down the papers and the two styles of laces from Reneas store. I then continued to put everything in its place, tucking in flowers and adding shabby ribbon, silver microbeads to the centers of the teal and white flowers, and a silver and pearl button as a center of a teal sparkly flower. I sprayed some Prima bloom spray in light teal around the page and lightly on the flowers.

I know there is a lot going on this layout, and one of my friends told me she thought it looked like a city. I like that description!

I used a jewelry piece in soft teal, a friend just sent me, as part of a floral/rhinestone grouping next to the photo.

Thank you for stopping by my blog! I hope you are inspired to step out of the box and try something different!
