Reneabouquets and Tresors De Luxe

Thanks for stopping by! This is a layout I made to thank two fabulous women, who both have amazing shops! I used both of their products in this layout! I want to thank Renea Harrison for asking me to guest design in October. I really enjoyed that! And I want to thank Lucy Ohanyan for asking me to be part of the Tresors De Luxe design team! I am so excited to be a part of that team!

Fall Layout - Gina's Designs

Today, I'm sharing a layout for Gina's Designs using one of her beautiful flourished frames!

I wanted to keep this layout very simple because I wanted the gorgeous Flourished Frame - Bella to be the star of the show! It's a really beautiful design!

I prepared the chipboard frame with a coat of white gesso. I then painted it with Tattered Angels, Palm leaf, glitter paint. While still wet, I added pine needles and orange embossing powder.

I only glued the middle frame part down so that I could pull up and lightly twist up the leaves.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!t

Ginas Design's and CraftSupplies1 7x7 Shadow Box

Welcome scrappy friends! Today I am sharing a 7 x 7 Shadow Box from Gina's Designs along with a gorgeous brown fabric rose spray from Craftsupplies1.

I just love the pearl sprays!

I used two sizes of the new Layered Flourishes. These are so cool! I painted the top and bottom pieces with white gesso. For the top piece of the small flourish, I used a walnut stain distress paint dabber, then lightly rubbed on Inka Gold when the paint was dry.

I used weathered wood crackle paint on the top piece of the large flourish. The large flourish is straight like the smaller version, but I cut it in half to make a "corner" I used weathered wood crackle paint on the top piece of the large flourish. All of the dress forms were covered with white gesso and then painted with distress crackle paint.

This was a really fun project! I hope you take a looked at the cute Themed Shadow Boxes and the NEW Layered Flourishes!

Every Picture Tells A Story

GINA'S DESIGNS

Even though it's October, I had red roses on my mind! And once I grabbed the Cottage Window from Gina's, I knew what picture I wanted to use. I love using windows on projects. It's like you are looking in at another place and time.

I didn't want to change the look of the chipboard window very much, so I just lightly rubbed a walnut stain distress paint dabber over it.

I bent the windows up for added dimension.

I added a small circle image of a sewing machine to one of the Punch Elements. I used a red (brick wall) chalk ink to cover the words. I did not use white gesso first because I wanted a darker red color.

Thank you for stopping by and taking a look through my window!
