Fall Banner - Gina's Designs

This is a fall banner I made for Gina's Designs. It was really fun to make! I am getting addicted to the cute 1 inch round charms (punch elements)! I used Graphic 45 Eerie collection papers and stickers. I was so excited to see this collection had the small round circle designs...and quickly grabbed my 1 inch punch!

The Fall Banner Kit come with the letter chipboard pieces, 2 different types of fall leaves, and 2 cute rakes!

Colors of Autumn

Today I am sharing a Fall layout using several pieces of Gina's chipboard flourishes.  There are several beautiful sets to choose from! I love to use them to create the feel of movement on the page.

I painted the flourishes with gesso, and then with a mixture of Shimmerz texture paint (arti choked) and Tattered Angels glimmer paint (palm leaf). I lightly sprayed Ranger color wash spray mist (meadow) on top.

The words are from the Words & Phrases 2 set, and painted with brown crackle paint.

The Diamond Anniversary -Composition Box

Today I want to share Gina's Designs Composition Box that I have used for my parents 60th Anniversary.  The colors, red, black, and white, was the color theme at the surprise dinner party we had for them. The party theme was Diamonds, now that was fun! We had diamonds sprinkled all over the tables, and large diamond rings for napkin holders.  There is a photo of the napkin holder in the small resin frame. If you look closely there is one of the large diamond ring napkin holders in the lower right side of the box.

The first thing I did was to cover all of the pieces of the small boxes with black gesso, and the side pieces of the large box.  I then covered the inside and the back of the large box, and the inside of the sides and bottom/top pieces, with Bo Bunny Serenity paper. I used one of the small boxes to place behind the photo of my parents to give dimension to the photo and resin frame. I used a smaller resin frame for the square box and added the love bird paper to the inside. I added a red glittered paper inside of the remaining box and adhered the number 60 inside of the box. The number was painted with white gesso, white chalk ink, and pearls were added. The word Love, was covered with red Inka gold.

The silver pearl and crystal crown was originally a place card holder and they were used to hold photos of my parents, throughout their marriage, on all the tables.

Here is a photo of the four boxes that come in this set. You will also receive a wood key, and a number of your choosing to use with the boxes. Obviously I chose the number 60.

Have a great week! Thank you for coming by for a look!
