The Diamond Anniversary -Composition Box

Today I want to share Gina's Designs Composition Box that I have used for my parents 60th Anniversary.  The colors, red, black, and white, was the color theme at the surprise dinner party we had for them. The party theme was Diamonds, now that was fun! We had diamonds sprinkled all over the tables, and large diamond rings for napkin holders.  There is a photo of the napkin holder in the small resin frame. If you look closely there is one of the large diamond ring napkin holders in the lower right side of the box.

The first thing I did was to cover all of the pieces of the small boxes with black gesso, and the side pieces of the large box.  I then covered the inside and the back of the large box, and the inside of the sides and bottom/top pieces, with Bo Bunny Serenity paper. I used one of the small boxes to place behind the photo of my parents to give dimension to the photo and resin frame. I used a smaller resin frame for the square box and added the love bird paper to the inside. I added a red glittered paper inside of the remaining box and adhered the number 60 inside of the box. The number was painted with white gesso, white chalk ink, and pearls were added. The word Love, was covered with red Inka gold.

The silver pearl and crystal crown was originally a place card holder and they were used to hold photos of my parents, throughout their marriage, on all the tables.

Here is a photo of the four boxes that come in this set. You will also receive a wood key, and a number of your choosing to use with the boxes. Obviously I chose the number 60.

Have a great week! Thank you for coming by for a look!
